Today the Monitor page shows its top-level KPIs as a row of tabs. This page swaps that row for a deck of rich KPI cards and lets you try the motion. The active card drives the insight and the drivers below, just like a tab. When the hero area is narrower than 720 px the narrow layout takes over. All numbers are made up.
One KPI gets the room to show its trend, target and status at a readable size, and the deck scales past four KPIs without wrapping the hero row into a second line.
Today all hero KPIs are visible at a glance. A deck shows one in full and its neighbours as previews, so scanning for the red one takes navigation. Pair it with the counter and dots.
Below 720 px the side-by-side layouts have no room for neighbours. Card stack keeps one card readable and hints at the rest; Depth dolly adds a sense of position in the deck.
